Your guided vacation tour begins in the Croatian city of Dubrovnik — the “Pearl of the Adriatic” — known for its massive stone walls. Continue to Bosnia-Herzegovina to visit Sarajevo – host city of the 1984 Olympic Games.

Stay in the Serbian city of Belgrade to see the Kalemegdan Fortress where the Danube and Sava Rivers meet. You’ll travel through scenic Romania into the heart of Transylvania to see ancient churches, towers, and monasteries, including a walking tour of Brasov with its famous Black Church.

Visit Dracula’s Bran Castle on its hilltop perch, on your way to the Romanian capital of Bucharest. You’ll see the grand People’s Palace and the home of the late Romanian dictator, Nicolae Ceausescu. From Bucharest, you’ll travel to the Bulgarian towns of Ruse, Sofia, and Rila – mountainous home to legendary gladiator Spartacus.

Crossing into Greece, you’ll pass through centuries of legendary landmarks before arriving in the ancient, Greek capital city of Athens. Home to the first modern Olympics, Athens is home to the world’s most celebrated 5th-century landmarks, including the Acropolis, Parthenon, and the Temple of Athena Nike.

Your adventure concludes with a 3-night cruise of the Greek Islands. Visit Mykonos with its windmills and dazzling white houses, and Kusadasi on the Turkish coast as you cruise across the deep-blue waters of the Aegean. You’ll also explore Crete and Santorini – the “Black Pearl of the Aegean.”
